Good Camera for Average user

Pros: Inexpensive for a DV camcorder. Easy to use.

Cons: Grainy in indoor, low light conditions...but this is not a showstopper.

Recommended for documentaries

Pros: reliable, has ext. microphone jack, cheap enough not to worry, nearly foolproof automatic.

Cons: Bad in low lighting; MP4 recorder limit 20 seconds; cannot change tape while on tripod.

Quick & easy to figure out

Pros: Playback buttons located outside LCD; intuitive design and controls. Firewire. Works well with our Mac!

Cons: Still shot have excessive noise levels. Very grainy in low light.

Cons: Grainy image with indoor lighting, no video in recording, autofocusing sometimes behaves odd, colors inaccurate.
